Welcome to our first blog post!

I thought I would make my first blog post a brief and a more casual intro to who we are and what we do.  Our goal with this blog is to share (and go deeper) what is happening with our interior design projects in Tulsa and elsewhere, latest homebuilding and décor trends that we are seeing, and anything else that sparks our creativity and interest.     

Let me introduce ourselves… a little about us

I am Gunta Sandmeyer, owner and principal designer of Boulevard Interiors, an interior design and renovations company based in Tulsa, OK.   

Also, please say hello to Sydney, our Junior Designer (who came to us as a design student intern) and who has done some really great things since being here.  

While we are the “design brains” of the operation, we have a full team of contractors, builders, and other trades that make our visions possible.  In our work, we specialize in all facets of interior and exterior design, serving residential and commercial clients.  Our work and projects take us from residences and office space renovations in Tulsa and North East Oklahoma to vacation homes at Grand Lake, Gulf Coast, and Mexico.  

There truly is nothing that gets us more excited (and gets our adrenaline pumping) than creating something amazing for our clients.  We love it all – bet it new construction homes, remodels and renovations, or choosing perfect furnishings for your home or office.  

Through this blog we hope to deliver and upload helpful content that will shine more light on what we do as designers, how we work, how we approach each project, and even how to hire us. 

Our goal is to inspire and inform, and, ultimately, help you along the way with some of these sometimes confusing, but oh-so-fun design things that we are so fortunate to do on daily basis! 

Our days are never the same.

From one day to another, our days fly by in the blink of an eye. Just today, we started our day off with communication about an overseas project (later on that one), had a lighting selection appointment with a Tulsa new build client we are working with, added items to a home we staged that’s currently for sale, had a working office lunch meeting, revised new plans, scheduled new client measures for later this week, and finalized more design selections. In the evening, we are off to the 2023 Tulsa Designer’s Showcase to mingle with the people and replace all the flowers with fresh ones.
